Volkswagen were looking to create a series of ‘How-to’ videos aimed at new and existing owners, that were functional, unique and entertaining. The content was to be delivered as part of Volkswagen’s hugely popular ‘Welcome Experience’ CRM platform.
Our early research for this project found that not only was there a better way to do a ‘How-to’ series, but that the features themselves could also be used to build brand love, and entice prospective owners into purchase.
Thus, our public-facing ‘Better Living Through Volkswagen’ series was born.
Told from the perspective of two Volkswagens, the series follows their owners - husband a wife Mitch and Susan - as they use the features of their cars to help them through life’s daily struggles.
Mitch is trying to be more of a help around the house, but he’s prone to getting sidetracked. Best start with the easy stuff.
When you’re having ‘one of those days’, sometimes it’s good to just let go a bit.
Mitch has borrowed Susan’s car, and messed with all the settings. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to stop it happening again.
Mitch decides to trick himself into being punctual, by changing the clock in the car.
